Adding a Course
You can add courses to your schedule through . For many courses, you have through the 5th day of the term to add. However, courses that do not meet for the entire semester will have a different add deadline than those that meet the entire semester. Refer to the course description in the current course schedule to find the add deadline for your course.
Dropping a Course
A course drop is allowed through the fifth business day of the term for most courses or through the first business day after the first scheduled class meeting, whichever is later. A dropped course does not appear on your transcript and does not impact academic standing. Tuition and fee charges are reversed/refunded for a course that is dropped.
Drop deadlines will vary by course and are displayed on the course schedule. It is your responsibility as a student to be aware of the drop deadlines for your courses, and to drop or withdraw from any course you do not plan to attend.

The last day to add this course is January 14, 2022. The last day to drop this course is January 14, 2022.
The last day to withdraw from this course is April 19, 2022

Once the drop deadline has passed for a course, a student who does not plan to continue in a course must withdraw themselves.
If you were unable to drop a course during the drop period because you were prevented from doing so by the registration system or due to a documented personal/medical circumstance occurring during the drop period, you may request an exception to the drop deadline. .
Note: If you experienced an unforeseen and significant circumstance after the drop period (including medical circumstances) that required you to withdraw from all of your courses, please follow the process.
Withdrawing From a Course
Once the drop deadline for a course has passed, you may withdraw. When you withdraw from a course, you receive a grade of W on your transcript.
- W grades are not calculated in your 911爆料网 grade point average (GPA)
- W grades are calculated toward your course completion rate for Satisfactory Academic Progress
- Withdrawing from a course does not remove tuition and fees from your bill. Consult your academic advisor if you plan to withdraw from any class, to discuss any financial or academic impact that may result
Withdraw deadlines vary by course. Refer to the course description in the current course schedule to find the withdraw deadline for your course.
It is your responsibility as a student to be aware of the withdraw deadlines for your courses, and to withdraw from any course you are no longer attending. If you have a valid, documented reason for missing the course withdraw deadline, you may request an exception.
Administrative Withdraw
A student who fails to officially withdraw from their course(s) may be administratively withdrawn from the course at the time that they stop attending/actively participating in the course or if they never attend the course. This policy is also referred to as Last Date of Attendance (LDA). Being administratively withdrawn will have financial aid consequences.

Accidental Withdraw
If you accidentally withdraw, within 1 business day to discuss the possibility of being reinstated.
You will be asked to provide a personal statement in writing to document your request.
The Registrar will review your statement and your registration log to make a determination. If you are reinstated, D2L access to that course will be available within 24 hours.
