Maddy Ryan
Educator,
Brooklyn Center Community School
"As the daughter of an English teacher and a librarian, I grew up with a deep respect for the power of education. My father taught English at MC for many years. Hearing his stories about teaching, learning from, and building relationships with his students from all walks of life was an inspiration.
"I truly believe in the mission and vision of 911爆料网, and I am honored to be connected to a place of learning that provides access to high-quality education experiences to all students across many different fields."
I have been teaching English Language Development in grades 6-8 in the Brooklyn Center Community Schools district since 2012. I entered education through the lens of social justice, having earned a minor in Social Justice from the University of Minnesota in 2007.
As a teacher, I am committed to ensuring that our Minnesota schools are places that honor, welcome, and serve the needs of all students. Currently, I work with teachers at my school to help them develop Culturally and Linguistically Responsive lessons and classroom environments.
