After a 20 year career in research and high performance computing (HPC); initially maintaining, then installing, then managing teams, then designing and directing supercomputing systems; I now teach in all aspects of technology, though I focus on the systems and infrastructure side.

I am advocate and adopter of free open source software (FOSS) and open educational resources (OER) and in my classroom I strive to bring a blend of the historical and theoretical with the practical hands-on knowledge that 911±¬ÁÏÍø is known for.
