2017 Commencement Celebrates 911±¬ÁÏÍø Students!
More than a hundred 911±¬ÁÏÍø faculty and staff attended the 2017 Commencement Ceremony at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
Approximately 75 Deans and faculty members comprised an honor guard.
Family and friends of the graduates cheered, applauded and even shed tears as the newest 911±¬ÁÏÍø alumni walked across the stage to receive commendation and a handshake from Minnesota State Chancellor Steven Rosenstone and 911±¬ÁÏÍø President Sharon Pierce as well as several 911±¬ÁÏÍø executives, outgoing Student Senate President Joe Amrhein and student speaker Jewlene Bellamy.
The processional and recessional were provided by the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Chamber and Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Yolanda Y. Williams, Instructor of Music. Dr. Elizabeth Pauly and the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Choir provided a special musical presentation.
Plan now to attend next year's Commencement on May 14, 2018.
