2026 Legislative Request
Minnesota State is requesting $464 million from the legislature. Those funds are to be used in the following ways:
- $200 million for Higher Education Asset Preservation and Replacement (HEAPR)
- $225.5 million for major capital projects at four colleges and universities
- $38.5 million for systemwide capital initiatives

A thoughtful email with your personal story can make a great impression.
